The winery participates in the upcoming Fiestas de la Vendimia de Jerez with its traditional Open House days in which it offers the possibility of knowing more about its trajectory as a family business and its wines to those who do not know it, since it does not offer tourist visits as usual This year, the open days – by appointment and donation of a kilo of food for the benefit of the Little Sisters of the Poor of Jerez – will take place on September 11 and 12.
In addition, this year the Regulatory Council has appointed Carmen Borrego Plá, owner and co-director of the winery, but also a researcher and teacher as speaker of the 2019 Wine Chair, which will take place on September 3. About 500 years after the first circumnavigation, Dr. Borrego Plá will speak on “The sherry in 1519: at the gates of an oceanic labyrinth of spices, porcelain and silk”.
