The winery Mª Carmen Borrego Plá addresses in the Regulatory Council “The arch of the Atlantic crossbow”

The winery and historian Mª Carmen Borrego Plá addressed the past July 29 at the headquarters of the Regulatory Council of Jerez the peculiarities of the “bow of the Atlantic crossbow” as a starting point of the relations of the wine of Jerez with Hispano-America, within the Jerez cycle, Culture and Wine, organized by this institution and before a large audience. After the presentation of the president of the Regulatory Council, Mr. Beltrán Domecq, the doctor glossed, for almost an hour, the extraordinary trip of the Jerez wines to the American ports from the area of ​​Andalusia known as “the Atlantic crossbow arch” between the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries. The institutions that organized the trips, the peculiarities of a tanned sailors in long journeys, the journeys of the wine once arrived to earth or the relationship of the sailor tongue and winemaker were part of this very interesting exhibition.
